Bonifacio is a 4th class municipality in the province of Misamis Occidental, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 27,810 people in 5,502 households. Bonifacio town was established by Don Demetrio P. Fernan in 1942. He was then the first mayor of Bonifacio.

Pulacan Falls

Pulacan Falls is located in the town of Labangan, 12 km from Pagadian City. It covers an area of about 400 square meters. It is the source of water for the Labangan irrigation system. The area around it has a permanent Boy and Girl Scout campsite with facilities wherein regional and provincial jamborees are held. Two kilometers from the area is the 134-hectare Home Defense Center and the Headquarters of the 1st Infantry "Tabak" Division of the Philippine Army.

Panguil Bay

Panguil Bay, an arm of Iligan Bay, is a bay in Mindanao in the Philippines. The bay forms the natural boundary separating the Zamboanga Peninsula from the rest of the island of Mindanao. It borders the provinces of Misamis Occidental, Zamboanga del Sur, and Lanao del Norte. Important cities and municipalities on its coast are Ozamiz and Tangub in Misamis Occidental, and Tubod, the capital of Lanao del Norte.
