Castro Laboreiro Castle
The Castle of Castro Laboreiro (Castelo de Castro Laboreiro) is a Portuguese castle in Castro Laboreiro, Melgaço. The castle was ordered to be built by Denis of Portugal, although some documents claim that a previous castle existed. It has an oval architectural plan, with the remaining length of the wall erected above crags. At the main entrance, in the east, there is the designated Door of the Sun.
