The source of the Sorot is Lake Mikhalkinskoye in the eastern part of Novorzhevsky District.

The Alolya is a river in Opochetsky, Novorzhevsky, Bezhanitsky, and Pustoshkinsky Districts of Pskov Oblast in Russia. It is a right tributary of the Velikaya River.
