Chekalin

Chekalin, formerly known as Likhvin (Лихвин), is a town in Suvorovsky District of Tula Oblast, Russia, located on the left bank of the Oka River. Population: 994; 1,151; 1,319. It is the least populous inhabited locality in Russia with the town status. In 1944, Likhvin was renamed Chekalin in honor of a Soviet partisan Alexander Chekalin.

Peremyshlsky District is an administrative and municipal district, one of the twenty-four in Kaluga Oblast, Russia. It is located in the east of the oblast. Peremyshl, Russia

Peremyshl is a rural locality and the administrative center of Peremyshlsky District of Kaluga Oblast, Russia. Population: 3,279; 3,235; 3,168. Formerly a capital of one of the Upper Oka Principalities, Peremyshl contains the ruins of a mid-16th century cathedral which collapsed in the 1980s from neglect.
