Al Bahah Province

Al-Bahah is a province of Saudi Arabia. Al-Baḥah is located in the south of the country, near 'Asir. It has an area of 15,000 km², and a population of 459,200 (1999). Its capital is Al Bahah. The al- Baḥah region includes al-Baḥah city, Almikhwah and Baljorashi. Baljorashi has a famous traditional market known as sooqe as-sabt, which translates to English as "Saturday market". The Baljorashi market is very old and its exact age is unknown.

Albaha University is a university in Al Baha city, the capital of Al Baha province, Saudi Arabia. It is a public university that was founded in 2006. The president of the university is Prof. Dr. Saad bin Mohammad Alhareky. The main campus is at Alaqiq about 25 km away from Al Baha city. The other campuses are in Almikhwah, Almandaq, and Baljurashi. The land of the main campus in Alaqiq occupies about 6.7 km. The university emphasizes public services in all of its disciplines.
