Gangneung Indoor Ice Rink
Gangneung Indoor Ice Rink (강릉 실내 빙상경기장) is an indoor ice arena which will be used for the 2018 Winter Olympics and 2018 Winter Paralympics. It was opened in 1998. It is located in the coastal city of Gangneung. It will be the venue for curling and wheelchair curling. The seating capacity is 3,500. It is the only Olympic venue in Gangneung which existed prior to the election of PyeongChang as host city of the 2018 Winter Games.

It will be the one of the two venues for ice hockey and will be the venue for the hockey finals. The seating capacity is 10,000. The cost of construction for the Olympics is 73 million USD . Construction should start in September 2013 and be completed in September 2016.
