Torreperogil

Torreperogil is a small town of 7,500 people in Andalucia, Spain. The town is about 15 minutes away from Úbeda. It retains some fame for its use of the exclamatory phrase "¡Bárcia!". Perhaps the most widely visited spots in Torreperogil are El Paso, Los Pinos, El Prado, La Torre Oscura, and Botellon. La Torre Oscura is the old part of the town, with older architecture. It is also the location of several non-permanent events.

Vázquez de Molina Square

Vázquez de Molina Square, situated in Úbeda, in the Autonomous Region of Andalusia, is one of the best examples of Renaissance architecture in Spain. The Spanish Renaissance architectural value of this square was one of the motives for UNESCO's decision to declare Úbeda a World Heritage site in July 2003. Prominent buildings in this square are: Deán Ortega Palace (Palacio del Deán Ortega): a Renaissance palace designed by the Spanish architect Andrés de Vandelvira in the 16th century.
