Romería de El Rocío

The Romería de El Rocío is a procession/pilgrimage on the second day of the Pentecost to the Hermitage of El Rocío in the countryside of Almonte, Province of Huelva, Andalusia, Spain, in honor of the Virgin of El Rocío. In recent years the Romería has brought together roughly a million pilgrims each year. The pilgrimage dates from 1653, when the Virgin of Las Rocinas was appointed patron saint of Almonte. Originally it took place on 8 September.

Aznalcázar

Aznalcázar is a city located in the province of Seville, southern Spain. It's only 25 minutes away from Seville, and is one of the 13 towns located in the Doñana, one of Spain’s most important national parks and wildlife reserves. Isla Mayor

Isla Mayor is a municipality located in the province of Seville, Spain. According to the 2006 census, the municipality, which has an area of 114 km, has a population of 5.873 (2009) inhabitants. The main village is Isla Mayor, about 45 km south west of Sevilla, The small village of Poblado de Alfonso XIII is in the same municipality. Isla Mayor separated from the municipality of Puebla del Rio in 1994.
