Agüera is one of 15 parishes (administrative divisions) in Belmonte de Miranda, a municipality within the province and autonomous community of Asturias, in northern Spain. Its name comes from the Asturian word "agüeru", which means a pool or irrigation channel. This name is also applied to the valley, where several streams converge. Agüera is 10 km from Belmonte, on the left-hand bank of the river Pigüeña, 340m above sea level. It can be reached by highway AS-227.

Tuña

A tuna is a saltwater finfish that belongs to the tribe Thunnini, a sub-grouping of the mackerel family (Scombridae) – which together with the tunas, also includes the bonitos, mackerels, and Spanish mackerels. Thunnini comprises fifteen species across five genera, the sizes of which vary greatly, ranging from the bullet tuna up to the Atlantic bluefin tuna . The bluefin averages 2 m, and is believed to live for up to 50 years.
