Ciudad Deportiva de Lanzarote (literally Sports City of Lanzarote) is a sports ground in Arrecife, the capital of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands. It is the home ground for two of the island's main football teams, UD Lanzarote and CD Orientacion Maritima. It holds around 7000 spectators and also hosts other sports.

Arrecife

Arrecife is a city in the Canary Islands situated in the centre-east of the island of Lanzarote of which it has been the capital since 1852. The city owes its name to the rock reef ('Arrecife' is Spanish for 'reef') which covers the beach located in the city. The city also gives its name to the island's nearby airport. The population is 50,785, its density is 2,235.25/km² and the area is 22.72 km². It is south of Haría, east of Tinajo and northeast of Yaiza.

Costa Teguise

Costa Teguise is a coastal town in the Municipality of Teguise on the island of Lanzarote. It was built intentionally to accommodate tourism, and prior to building commencing the streets were planned, constructed, and serviced in advance. The town has four main beaches, all of which are natural: Playa de los Charcos, Playa de las Cucharas, Playa del Jablillo and Playa Bastián.

Lanzarote

Lanzarote, a Spanish island, is the easternmost of the autonomous Canary Islands, in the Atlantic Ocean, approximately 125 km off the coast of Africa and 1,000 km from the Iberian Peninsula. Covering 845.9 km, it stands as the fourth largest of the islands. The first recorded name for the island, given by Angelino Dulcert, was Insula de Lanzarotus Marocelus, after the Genoese navigator Lancelotto Malocello, from which the modern name is derived.
