Tahiche

Tahíche is a village located in the municipality in Teguise on the island of Lanzarote. According to the 2009 census (INE), it has a population of 3,865 inhabitants. César Manrique, an award winning artist and architect, was born here and lived here before he died. The foundation created by Manrique is located here.

Lanzarote

Lanzarote, a Spanish island, is the easternmost of the autonomous Canary Islands, in the Atlantic Ocean, approximately 125 km off the coast of Africa and 1,000 km from the Iberian Peninsula. Covering 845.9 km, it stands as the fourth largest of the islands. The first recorded name for the island, given by Angelino Dulcert, was Insula de Lanzarotus Marocelus, after the Genoese navigator Lancelotto Malocello, from which the modern name is derived.

Tinajo, Las Palmas

Tinajo is a Canarian municipality in the western portion of the island of Lanzarote in the Las Palmas province in the Canary Islands. The population is 5,066, its density is 37.45/km² and the area is 135.28 km². It is located on a main highway linking Taiza and Teguise as well as east to Arrecife via LZ20 and is the westernmost terminus and LZ67 to Yaiza. The main industry are agriculture and tourism especially in the park area.
