Nuevo Estadio Los Pajaritos

Nuevo Estadio Los Pajaritos is a multi-purpose stadium in Soria, Spain. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of CD Numancia. The stadium holds 10,200 and was built in 1999. It is notoriously cold, allegedly giving Numancia a strong home advantage in winter. The move to the new stadium coincided with a rise in CD Numancia fortunes. They were promoted to the Primera in 1999 and spent two seasons there before returning to Segunda A.

Santo Domingo, Soria

Santo Domingo is a church in Soria, Castile and León, Spain. It was built in the late 12th century above a pre-existing church dedicated to San Tomé, although it was partially renovated in the following centuries, including the century transept and choir area, added in the 16th century when a Dominican convent was founded annexed to the church. It has a façade with two orders of arcades at the sides of the portal, which is surmounted by a rose window.

Numantia

Numantia (Numancia in Spanish) is the name of an ancient Celtiberian settlement, whose remains are located 7 km north of the city of Soria, on a hill known as Cerro de la Muela in the municipality of Garray. Numantia is famous for its role in the Celtiberian Wars. In the year 153 BC Numantia experienced its first serious conflict with Rome. After 20 years of hostilities, in the year 133 BC the Roman Senate gave Scipio Aemilianus Africanus the task of destroying Numantia.
