Calatrava la Vieja

Calatrava la Vieja (formerly just Calatrava) is a medieval site and original nucleus of the Order of Calatrava. It is now part of the Archaeological Parks (Parques Arqueológicos) of the Community of Castile-La Mancha. Situated at Carrión de Calatrava, Calatrava during the High Middle Ages was the only important city in the Guadiana River valley. It thus guarded the roads to Córdoba and Toledo.

Tablas de Daimiel National Park (Parque Nacional de las Tablas de Daimiel) is a nature reserve in south-central Spain on La Mancha plain in the province of Ciudad Real. It is a wetland in an arid part of Spain. Tablas de Daimiel (TDNP) is the smallest of Spain's fourteen national parks. It covers an area of 19.28 km².

Quijote Arena

Quijote Arena is an arena in Ciudad Real, Spain. It is primarily used for team handball and is the home arena of BM Ciudad Real. The arena holds 5,863 people and was opened in 2003. It is located on the Avenida de Puertollano, and is owned by the municipality of Ciudad Real. Arena is expected to be extended in future to hold 7,500 spectators for the 2013 World Men's Handball Championship
