Segrià

Segrià is a comarca (county) in the west of Catalonia, Spain, bordering Aragon. As of 2001, over two thirds of its population live in the capital city of Lleida, which is also Catalonia's largest municipality, and remains the most populated comarca in the Lleida province. It takes its name from the river Segre.

Gran Passeig de Ronda, Lleida

Gran Passeig de Ronda is one of the main thoroughfares in the city of Lleida. It stretches from Plaça d'Europa towards Avinguda de l'Alcalde Areny on the bank of the river Segre, by the Pont Nou. It's located in one of the areas built ex nihilo after the destruction of the Spanish Civil War. Demographically, it separates upscale quarters of the primarily middle class areas such as middle class areas from the working class neighbourhoods of La Mariola and Instituts-Templers and Gardeny hill.

Rambla d'Aragó, Lleida

Rambla d'Aragó is an important thoroughfare in the Universitat district of Lleida, Catalonia, Spain. Originally a rambla with a pedestrianised area complete with a marketplace and a service of trams, it underwent several changes and is nowadays a regular street crossed by cars. It originates at Plaça de Cervantes and ends in Avinguda Catalunya.

Roman Catholic Diocese of Lleida

The Diocese of Lleida is located in north-eastern Spain, in the province of Lleida, part of the autonomous community of Catalonia. The diocese forms part of the ecclesiastical province of Tarragona, and is thus suffragan to the Archdiocese of Tarragona. The diocese of Lleida was created in the 3rd century. After the Moorish conquest of Lleida in 716 the episcopal see was moved to Roda (until 1101) and then to Barbastro (1101-1149).

Centre d'Art la Panera

The Centre d'Art la Panera is an art museum in Lleida, Catalonia, Spain. It's named after Carrer de la Panera, the street where it's located, in the old-town area known as Els Vins. Opened in 1997, with the introduction of the Leandre Cristòfol biennial, its located in a building (the town's corn exchange) dating from the 12th century, in the medieval area of the town.
