Maradankulama

Maradankulama or Maradankulam is village situated within the North Western Province of Sri Lanka. It is one of the oldest settlements within the geographic region that formed the medieval divisions of the country called Demala Pattuva. Mundal Lagoon

Mundal Lagoon is a lagoon in Puttalam District, western Sri Lanka. The lagoon is sometimes referred to as Mundal Lake. The lagoon is linked to Puttalam Lagoon to the north by a channel. The lagoon's water is brackish. The lagoon is surrounded by a region containing rice paddies, coconut plantations and scrubland. The land is used for prawn fishing and rice cultivation. The lagoon has mangrove swamps, salt marshes and sea grasses.

Puruduwella

Puruduwella, meaning "Sand area where training is done" in Sinhala, is a small village in Sri Lanka. It belongs to Mahawewa divisional secretariat in Puttalam District in North Western Province. There is river called Kadupiti Oya in one boundary of the village. There are also two buddhist temples Pushparamaya and Subadraramaya in the village.
