A4 highway (Sri Lanka)

The A4 Highway is the longest highway in Sri Lanka, at 430 kilometres in length. It connects Colombo with Batticaloa, through a large number of important cities in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Uva and Eastern provinces.

Kelani Valley Club

The Kelani Valley Club (KV Club) is a Planters'club situated by the banks of the Seethawaka River at Talduwa, Avissawella, Sri Lanka. Established in 1884, by British planters of region, its club house is a beautiful colonial style structure which blends perfectly with the picturesque surroundings of Talduwa. Its motto is Usque Ad Tertium Diem meaning All The Way To Third Day..... and is has one of the oldest bars in the island made of teak.

Waga

Waga is an isolated small town in Colombo District, Sri Lanka. Administrated by Seethawaka Pradeshiya Sabha (Divisional Council), it is part of the Padukka Divisional Secretary's Division. The town can be reached on road from Colombo via A4 road, turning off at either Meepe near Padukka or at Kaluaggala near Hanwella. The Waga station of the Kelani Valley Railway Line is also situated in Kahahena junction of the town.

Handapangoda

Handapangoda is a town in Kalutara District, in the Western Province of Sri Lanka. It is on the road from Ingiriya to Colombo. It is located 45 km away from Colombo and 15 km away from Horana and 7 Km from Ingiriya. The town is administered by an Horana Pradeshiya Saba Council. Handapangoda is the sub-town of the Horana election division as well as Ingiriya Sectoral Division. Dharmashoka College is located close to the Handapangoda town. There is a stream or river, Mawak Ela, about 2.5 km away.

Batatotalena Cave

The Batatotalena Cave (also spelled Batadombalena), also known as the Diva Guhava in Buddhist literature, is a cave system in Sudagala, 5 km away from the town of Kuruwita, in the Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka. The cave measures approximately 15 m high, 18 m wide, and 25 m in length, totalling the internal cave area to 6,800 m . Accessing the cave involves a 400 m hike from Sudagala, and an additional 50 m climb to reach the cave entrance.
