St. Sebastian's College, Moratuwa

St. Sebastian's College is a Catholic educational institution in Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. It was established in 1854 and is considered to be one of the most prestigious schools in Sri Lanka. The college has over 3000 students and a staff of over 200. The college motto is "Exspecta Dominum Viriliter Age", meaning "Expect the Lord and act manfully" in Latin.

St. John's College Panadura

St John’s College is a prominent school in Panadura, Sri Lanka, that was founded in 1876. The school has a proud history of more than 100 years and celebrated the 125th anniversary during the year 2000. Even though there were only few girls and boys at the beginning, the number has increased up to 2000 and there are 100 teachers too. With its vast development, it is now one of the National schools in Panadura.

The University of Moratuwa, on the banks of the Bolgoda Lake in Katubedda, Moratuwa, is the most sought-after technological university in Sri Lanka. Apart from academics including the undergraduate and postgraduate studies, the University of Moratuwa presents social and cultural activities, student services, societies, and sports and recreational activities. The institution was known as Ceylon College of Technology, Katubedda (Katubedda Tech) before gaining university status.
