The Samutprakarn Crocodile Farm and Zoo is an internationally renowned crocodile zoo in Bangkok, Thailand. Whilst the park claims to hold the worlds largest crocodile in captivity, named Yai, measuring six meters (19 feet, 8 inches) and weighing 1114.27 kilograms (2465 pounds). Samut Prakan is one of the central provinces (changwat) of Thailand, established by the Act Establishing Changwat Samut Prakan, Changwat Nonthaburi, Changwat Samut Sakhon and Changwat Nakhon Nayok, Buddhist Era 2489 (1946), which came into force as from March 9, 1946. It is part of the Bangkok Metropolitan Region. Neighboring provinces are Bangkok, to the north and west, and Chachoengsao to the east.

Kanchanaphisek Bridge
The Kanchanaphisek Bridge is a cable stayed bridge crossing the Chao Phraya river in Samut Prakan Province, Thailand. It is part of the Outer Ring Road encircling Bangkok. The bridge was opened to traffic on November 15, 2007, and has a main span of 500 metres. The bridge was designed by Parsons Brinckerhoff. The bridge is part of the Outer Ring Road network, thus there is a toll for its use.
