Köprüköy, Kırıkkale

Köprüköy (“Bridgeville”, also called Köprü) is a town in Keskin district of Kırıkkale Province, Turkey. It is situated at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:39|35|N|33|26|E||| | |name= }} on Turkish state highway D.260 and to the east of Kızılırmak River reservoir. The distance to Keskin is 30 kilometres . The population of Köprüköy was 1280 as of 2011.

1938 Kırşehir earthquake

Kesikköprü Dam

Kesikköprü Dam is a 49-metre-tall earthen embankment dam on the Kızılırmak River near Ankara, Turkey. The development was backed by the Turkish State Hydraulic Works. Construction on the dam began in 1959 and was finished in 1966. The dam irrigates an area of 6,600 hectares and has a maximum hydroelectricity production of 76 MW.
