Battle of Cotyaeum

The Battle of Cotyaeum of 492 was fought in Phrygia Epictetus between the rebel Isaurian army led by Longinus of Cardala (other commanders included Conon Phuscianus, an ex- bishop, and Longinus of Selinus) and the Eastern Roman army of Emperor Anastasius led by John the Scythian and John the Hunchback (subordinate commanders included the future Justin I).

Cihangazi

Cihangazi is a small town in Bozüyük district of Bilecik Province, Turkey. It is 30 kilometres south of Bozüyük at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:39|44|N|29|55|E||| | |name= }}. The population of Cihangazi is 605 as of 2011. The name of the village probably refers to an undated tombstone of a certain war hero named Cihangazi (literally "World veteran"). Cihangazi was a more populous town in the past and its population is decreasing because of migration to cities.
