Tepealan

The distance to Ordu is 50 kilometres . The population of Tepealan is 3099 as of 2011. In ancient ages the area around Tepealan was quite populated because of the iron mines around. During the Ottoman Empire era Turks as well as Greeks and Armenians lived in Tepealan.

Kabataş, Ordu

Kabataş, formerly Karay, is a town and district of Ordu Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. According to the 2000 census, population of the district is 20,644 of which 9,211 live in the town of Kabataş. The district covers an area of 75 km, and the town lies at an elevation of 701 m . Formerly the village of Karay, Kabataş is in the Canik Mountains, 40 km inland from the Black Sea coast. The area was conquered by the Anatolian beylik of Hacı Emiroğulları in 1380.

Alankent

Alankent (former Yakacık) is a town in Kabataş district of Ordu Province, Turkey. The population of the Alankent is 5080 as of 2011. Up to 11th century the area around the town was a part of Hittites, Achaemenid Empire, Macedonian Empire, Roman Empire and Byzantine Empire.
