Kars Airport

Kars Airport is a public airport in Kars, Turkey. The airport, opened in 1988, is located 6 km from Kars. In 2006, Kars Airport served 2,352 aircraft and 270,052 passengers. The passenger terminal open to the public covers an area of 1,695 m and has a parking lot for 100 cars. The airport was closed in the spring and summer months of 2007 for renovation works. Kars Province

Kars Province is a province of Turkey, located in the northeastern part of the country. It shares part of its border with the Republic of Armenia. The provinces of Ardahan and Iğdır were until the 1990s part of Kars Province.

Kuytuca

Kuytuca is a village in Göle district of Ardahan Province, Turkey. At {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:40|46|N|42|45|E||| | |name= }} it is situated 17 kilometres east of Göle and 61 kilometres south of Ardahan. The population of Kuytuca is 1012 as of 2010 . The village was founded by seven families from Ahıska (now Akhaltsikhe, a city in Georgia) in the early years of the 19th century. It was captured by Russia during the Russo-Turkish War (1877–1878).
