Whitton, Suffolk
Whitton is an ancient parish and once a separate village it is now an area of Ipswich, in Suffolk. The site of a Roman villa, the village is thought to have been a Saxon colony, possibly dating from the Saxon invasion of around 430 AD. Westerfield is a railway station in Westerfield Suffolk, England. The station is a junction of the Felixstowe Branch Line to Felixstowe, and the East Suffolk Line to Lowestoft 3+⁄2 miles east of Ipswich. Westerfield is a small village north of Ipswich and the station is situated on the south side of the village.
