Troller's Gill

Troller's Gill is a limestone gorge, close to the village of Appletreewick in the Yorkshire Dales. Legend has it that the Gill is the home of trolls, and the mythical monstrous black dog Barghest. It is also the setting for Roger and the Rottentrolls, which draws upon these legends. It is also the location of an old lead and later fluorspar mine which was last worked in the 1960s.

Parcevall Hall

Parcevall Hall (also known as Parceval Hall) and its gardens are located near Skipton, North Yorkshire, England. It comprises a manor house and landscaped gardens. It is currently owned by the Diocese of Bradford and is used as a retreat, but the gardens are open to the public. The building is now a Grade II* listed building. The gardens comprise 24 acres of displays, featuring trees and shrubs and herbaceous borders.

Grimwith Reservoir

Grimwith Reservoir is located in the Yorkshire Dales in North Yorkshire, England. It is accessed from the B6265 road 1.5 miles east of Hebden and 8 miles west of Pateley Bridge. With a surface area of 1.47 square kilometres and holding 21,772,000 cubic metres of water it is Yorkshire Water's largest reservoir. The original reservoir was built in 1864 by the Bradford Corporation, the Local Authority for the city of Bradford, approximately 300 metres above sea level in Wharfedale.
