Thetford railway station

Thetford railway station is a railway station serving the town of Thetford in the English county of Norfolk. It is served by local services operated by Greater Anglia on the Breckland Line and Long distance East Midlands Trains services. It lies 30½ miles (49 km) west of Norwich on the line to Peterborough and Cambridge. It is the nearest railway station from the Center Parcs resort of Elveden Forest, 5 miles west of the station.

The Thetford Hoard (also known as the Thetford Treasure) is a hoard of Romano-British metalwork found at Gallows Hill, near Thetford in Norfolk, England, in November 1979, and now in the British Museum.

Roudham Junction railway station

Roudham Junction railway station was a station in Norfolk, England. It was located in Roudham, where the Main Line between Norwich and Thetford intercepted the branch line from Swaffham. It was first opened in 1869, but remote and poorly used, it was slowly downgraded. Main line trains no longer stopped there after 1920, and it officially closed to passengers in 1932.

RAF Barnham

RAF Barnham (also called Barnham Camp) is a Royal Air Force station situated in the English county of Suffolk 2 miles south of the Norfolk town of Thetford. It is located to the north of the village of Barnham on Thetford Heaths. The camp is a satellite station of RAF Honington. During the 1950s and 60s a part of RAF Barnham was set aside as high-security storage facility for nuclear weapons. This area of the site is now a scheduled monument.
