The London Borough of Hounslow is a London borough in west London, part of Outer London. Apart from the borough's town of the same name, the largest settlements in the borough are Chiswick, Brentford and Feltham. The borough includes Osterley Park, Syon House and to the south-east borders the River Thames. The local authority is Hounslow London Borough Council.

Hounslow Town tube station

Hounslow Town was a London Underground station in Hounslow in west London. The station was at the east end of Hounslow High Street at the junction with Kingsley Road. Its site is now occupied by Hounslow bus garage.

Municipal Borough of Heston and Isleworth

Heston and Isleworth was a local government district of Middlesex, England from 1894 to 1965. It was created an urban district in 1894 by the Local Government Act 1894. It gained the status of municipal borough in 1932. In 1965 the municipal borough was abolished and its former area transferred to Greater London to be combined with that of other districts to form the London Borough of Hounslow.

West Thames College

West Thames College is a medium sized college of further and higher education. It has two campuses in the London Borough of Hounslow in Middlesex, England: a main campus in Isleworth and a smaller Skills Centre in Feltham. Over 6,500 students study at the college each year. The college achieved a 'satisfactory' rating at its last Ofsted inspection in 2010 with individual 'good' ratings for support for students, equality and diversity, safeguarding, and financial management.

Royal Military School of Music

The Royal Military School of Music (RMSM) in Twickenham, west London, trains musicians for the British Army's twenty-nine bands. It is part of the Corps of Army Music. The school is based at Kneller Hall, which was the country house of the court painter Sir Godfrey Kneller, and was rebuilt after a fire in 1848. The RMSM was established in 1857 at the instigation of Prince George, Duke of Cambridge, Queen Victoria's cousin and the commander-in-chief of the army.
