Cefn Einion is a dispersed hamlet in southwest Shropshire, England. It is located two miles southwest of the village of Colebatch and between the small villages of Bryn and Mainstone. Cefn Einion in Welsh means Einion's Hill and could refer to any of several Einions in recorded history. The nearest towns are Clun and Bishop's Castle (both small). Clun Forest is a remote, rural area of open pastures, moorland and mixed deciduous/coniferous woodland in the southwest part of the English county of Shropshire and also just over the border into Powys, Wales. It was once a large forest covering an area that stretched from Ludlow up the Clun Valley. It now is only forested in some wooded areas, such as Radnor Wood, though a fairly large area of forest exists on the Wales–England border north of Anchor.

Colebatch, Shropshire
Colebatch is a small village and civil parish in southwest Shropshire, England. The village lies on the A488, one mile south of Bishop's Castle, on the road to Clun. Also nearby, to the east, is the village of Lydbury North, while the hamlet of Cefn Einion lies to the west. In the village on the west side of a tributary of the River Kemp are the earthwork remains of Colebatch Castle, a small motte castle.
