Stonebeck Down

Stonebeck Down is a civil parish in Harrogate district, North Yorkshire, England. Historically it was a township in the ancient parish of Kirkby Malzeard in the West Riding of Yorkshire. It became a separate civil parish in 1866, and was transferred from the West Riding to North Yorkshire in 1974. The main settlements in the parish are the village of Ramsgill and the hamlets of Stean and Heathfield. The parish occupies the west side of upper Nidderdale.

Stonebeck Up

Stonebeck Up is a civil parish in Harrogate district, North Yorkshire, England. Historically it was a township in the ancient parish of Kirkby Malzeard in the West Riding of Yorkshire. It became a separate civil parish in 1866, and was transferred from the West Riding to North Yorkshire in 1974. The only village in the parish is Middlesmoor. The parish occupies the highest part of Nidderdale.

Yorke Arms

The Yorke Arms is a restaurant and hotel located in Ramsgill in Nidderdale, North Yorkshire, England. As of 2008, the restaurant holds one star in the Michelin Guide. The Yorke Arms was featured in The Trip, a 2010 BBC comedy starring Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon as fictionalised versions of themselves doing a restaurant tour of northern England.

Scar House Reservoir

Scar House Reservoir is the second of the three reservoirs in Upper Nidderdale, the others being Angram Reservoir and Gouthwaite Reservoir. Between them they attract around 150,000 visitors a year. Angram and Scar House were built to supply water to the Bradford area of West Yorkshire. Water from here is transferred to Chellow Heights via the Nidd Aqueduct, which is a major engineering achievement as it doesn't involve any pumping.
