Wick Airport is located 1 NM north of the town of Wick in Caithness at the north-eastern extremity of the mainland of Scotland. It is owned and maintained by Highlands and Islands Airports Limited. Caithness General Hospital

Caithness General Hospital is an NHS Highland and Argyll hospital in Wick, Caithness, Highland, Scotland. In 2003 a review of maternity services by NHS Highland and Argyll (then NHS Highland) raised the possibility that these services at Caithness General would be down-graded from obstetrician-led to midwife-led. Ebenezer Place, Wick

Ebenezer Place, in Wick, Caithness, Scotland, is credited by the Guinness Book of Records as being the world's shortest street at 2.06 m . In 2006 it surpassed the previous record set by Elgin Street, Bacup, Lancashire. The street has only one address: the front door of No. 1 Bistro, which is part of Mackays Hotel.

Battle of Champions

The Battle of Champions was a trial by combat fought in 1478 or 1464 between two Scottish clans, Clan Gunn and Clan Keith. It took place at the chapel of St Tears (St Tayre) on the coast north of Wick in Caithness, between Ackergill Tower and Girnigoe Castle. It was arranged to settle a dispute with a battle between twelve men on horseback on either side. However, the Keiths arrived with two men on each of their twelve horses, and massacred the 12 Gunns.

Wick High School is a secondary school in Wick, Scotland, under the control of The Highland Council. In September 2008 it had an enrolment of 838. Being one of only two secondary schools in Caithness, it takes in pupils from a large number of primary schools.
