Camasunary

Camasunary is a small bay on the Strathaird peninsula of the Isle of Skye, Scotland. Camasunary is the anglicized form of the Gaelic name, Camas Fhionnairigh, which in pronunciation sounds similar to the Scottish English. The name means Bay of the White Shieling in Gaelic. The Camasunary Fault is the name of a geological subsurface feature underlying a portion of the Isle of Skye extending under the Sea of the Hebrides.

Clach Glas

Clach Glas is a mountain on the Black Cuillin of Skye - its elevation is 786 m (2,579 ft) and the name translates as The Grey Stone. It is often traversed as a sustained scrambling route to Blà Bheinn, mostly at a standard between Easy and Moderate, depending on the line followed (see Parker, routes 101 & 102). It is the penultimate mountain in the Greater Traverse of the Black Cuillin. Ashley Abraham called it 'the Matterhorn of Skye', (a description which is often still used).

Dun Ringill

Dun Ringill is an Iron Age hill fort on the Strathaird peninsula on the island of Skye, Scotland. Further fortified in the Middle Ages, tradition holds that it was for several centuries the seat of Clan MacKinnon. It is located east of Kirkibost on the west shore of Loch Slapin.
