Milltimber

Milltimber is a suburb to the west of Aberdeen, Scotland. It is situated approximately 8 miles inland of the North Sea, around 6 miles west of Aberdeen. Along with the nearby settlements of Cults and Bieldside, it is home to some of the most wealthy residents of Aberdeen. Facilities in Milltimber are somewhat lacking with the nearest shop situated in neighbouring Bieldside.

International School of Aberdeen

The International School of Aberdeen (ISA) is a school in Pitfodels, Cults, Aberdeen, Scotland. It takes in students that come from other countries besides the UK, although often British students are allowed to attend the school. It was formerly known as the American School in Aberdeen. It is one of three IB World Schools in Scotland that offers the IB Diploma Programme. The other two are St Leonards School, St Andrews and Fettes College, Edinburgh.

Deeside Way

The Deeside Way (commonly known as the Old Deeside Line; the Royal Deeside Line or simply the Deeside Line), is a pathway that travels along the bed of the now removed Deeside Railway, along the north bank of the River Dee in Aberdeenshire. While in operation, the railway was used by the British Royal Family during travel to their Scottish retreat at Balmoral, hence the local name the Royal Deeside Line.

Crynoch Burn

Crynoch Burn is a stream in Aberdeenshire that is tributary to the River Dee. This stream rises somewhat above Netherley and flows near Netherley House; and thence into the Red Moss, a significant natural bog habitat; thence near the historic Lairhillock Inn; and finally by the village of Maryculter and through Oldman Wood before discharge to the Dee. Headwaters areas include the northern and western slopes of Meikle Carewe Hill and the northern slopes of Curlethney Hill.

Storybook Glen

Storybook Glen is a children's theme park in Aberdeen, Scotland. It is primarily aimed at younger children due to its storybook theme (hence the name). It has been rated as a 3-star visitor attraction by the Scottish Tourist Board It is located to the south west of the city, on the outskirts, in Maryculter by the South Deeside Road, whose park is 28 acres in size and has deals with many (lower age) primary school parties.
