Cummertrees railway station was a railway station in Dumfries and Galloway south of Dumfries, serving the village of Cummertrees. The village lies some 3 miles northwest of Annan and 8 miles south of Lockerbie.

Everholm Stadium

Everholm Stadium is an athletics and football stadium in Annan, Dumfries and Galloway. It was the home ground of Gretna F.C. 2008 for most of the 2008–09 season, although the club's management stated their desire to move the club to Raydale Park in Gretna, home to the club's defunct predecessor Gretna F.C. Galabank, the ground of Annan Athletic, the team who replaced Gretna in the Scottish Football League, is just a few hundred metres from Everholm.

Annan Castle

Annan Castle, was a castle that was located on the banks of the River Annan, in Annan, Scotland. A motte and bailey castle was built in the 12th century by the de Brus family, Lords of Annandale. A flood in the mid-12th century changed the course of the River Annan, which caused the castle mound to be partially eroded. The castle was abandoned as the main seat of the de Brus family, who moved to Lochmaben Castle.

Ruthwell Cross

The Ruthwell Cross is a stone Anglo-Saxon cross probably dating from the 8th century, when Ruthwell was part of the Anglo-Saxon kingdom of Northumbria; it is now in Scotland. It is both the most famous and elaborate Anglo-Saxon monumental sculpture, and possibly the oldest surviving "text" of English poetry, predating any manuscripts containing Old English poetry.
