Abercrave railway station

Abercrave railway station served the village of Abercraf in the traditional county of Glamorganshire, Wales. Opened in 1869 by the Swansea Vale and Neath and Brecon Junction Railway, it was eventually absorbed by the Great Western Railway which closed it to passengers in 1932 although the line through the station remained open for freight for some time after that.

A4067 road

The A4067 road is an A road in Wales connecting Swansea with Sennybridge. It runs in a southwest to northeast direction beginning at Oystermouth Square in Mumbles, Swansea, and continuing from there to Swansea city centre, where there is a break in the route. It begins again in Landore and climbs almost the full length of the Swansea Valley to the pass at Bwlch Bryn-rhudd, from where it descends to join the A40 at Sennybridge on the River Usk.

Ynyswen

Ynyswen is a village in the community of Treorchy, in the county borough of Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales. Ynyswen consists mostly of housing. It has an industrial estate which was once the site of Burberry's factory, one shop, and the Forest View Medical Centre. The area has several chapels and churches as well as Ynyswen Infant school and Ynyswen Welsh School. Ynyswen infant's school takes children until the age of 7.

Sgwd Henrhyd

Sgwd Henrhyd (Henrhyd Waterfall or Henrhyd Falls) in Powys, Wales, is the tallest waterfall in South Wales with a drop of 90 feet . It lies on National Trust land on the southern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The falls occur where the small river, the Nant Llech drops over the faulted edge of a hard sandstone known as the Farewell Rock. The nearest settlement to it is Coelbren, on the road between Glynneath and Abercraf.
