District of Neath

Neath was one of the four local government districts of West Glamorgan, Wales from 1974 to 1996. It was formed from the municipal borough of Neath, along with all of Neath Rural District apart from Rhigos parish, which went to Cynon Valley district. In 1996 it merged with the district of Port Talbot to form Neath Port Talbot County Borough.

Neath North

Neath North is an electoral ward of Neath Port Talbot county borough, Wales falling within the community of Neath. Neath North includes some or all of the neighbourhoods of Llantwit and Neath town centre in the parliamentary constituency of Neath. It is bounded by the wards of Bryncoch South to the northwest; Cadoxton to the North; Tonna to the northeast; Cimla to the southeast; Neath South to the south; and Neath East to the southwest.

The Gnoll

The Gnoll in Neath, Wales is a sports ground, with a capacity of 5,000. In July 2009, Neath RFC presented plans for the redevelopment of the Gnoll, including building a community centre on the site, which were criticised as "too woolly".
