Borth railway station

Borth railway station is a railway station on the Cambrian Line in mid-Wales, serving the village of Borth near Aberystwyth. The station, which originally had two platforms, is now an unmanned halt. The original station building still remains and is in private / commercial use apart from one room which provides a waiting room for passengers. The station has been adopted under the Arriva Trains Wales Station Adoption Scheme and has won a number of community awards.

Afon Clarach

The Afon Clarach (English: River Clarach) is a small river discharging into Cardigan Bay north of Aberystwyth. It flows through a largely agricultural and forested landscape except in its lowest reaches where its banks are crowded with holiday developments. The Clarach is formed at the confluence of the Afon Stewi and Nant Seilo at Penrhyncoch, with both their headwaters originating in low hills at the edge of the Plynlimon range.

Aberystwyth Cliff Railway

The Aberystwyth Cliff Railway (Welsh: Rheilffordd y Graig) is a funicular railway in Aberystwyth, Ceredigion, Wales. Opened in 1896 at 778 feet in length, it was the longest funicular railway in the British Isles, since surpassed in length by the Cairngorm Mountain Railway at 1,970m in length with a height difference of 462m.

Penglais Nature Park

Penglais Nature Park (Welsh: Parc Natur Penglais) is a woodland situated in Aberystwyth, Ceredigion in Wales. The park is a combination of woodland and a disused quarry. Spring brings a display of a carpet of bluebells in common with the many other bluebell woods. Opened in 1995, it covers 27 acres; it was the first Nature reserve to open in Ceredigion and is the only UNESCO Man and Biosphere urban reserve in Wales.
