Moton Field Municipal Airport

Moton Field Municipal Airport is a public-use airport located three nautical miles (3.5 mi, 5.6 km) north of the central business district of Tuskegee, a city in Macon County, Alabama, United States. The airport is owned by the City of Tuskegee. It is included in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation facility. Moton Field is home to the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site.

Notasulga, Alabama

Notasulga is a town in Lee and Macon Counties in the U.S. state of Alabama. As of the 2000 census, the population of the town is 916. The portion in Lee County is part of the Auburn Metropolitan Area. Author Zora Neale Hurston was born in Notasulga in 1891.

Loachapoka, Alabama

Loachapoka is a town in Lee County, Alabama, United States. It is located seven miles (11 km) west of Auburn in west-central Lee County. The population was 165 as of the 2000 census. It is part of the Auburn Metropolitan Area. The name "Loachapoka" means "turtle sitting place" in Muskogee. In literature, Lochapoka was the destination of the colonists in James H. Street's 1940 novel Oh, Promised Land.

Donald E. Davis Arboretum
