Harpersville is a town in Shelby County, Alabama, United States. At the 2000 census the population was 1,620. The small town is growing due to the growth of big business on Highway 280. The town contains Morgan Creek Vineyards, Baker's Christmas Tree Farm, a historic graveyard, Shelby Sod farm, a drive in movie theater, numerous cotton fields, a public park, two private schools, and numerous subdivisions.

Morgan Creek Vineyards (Alabama)

Morgan Creek Vineyards is a winery in Harpersville, Alabama, United States. Regionally well-known, it is one of eleven wineries in the state. Founded in 2000 on an initial 30 acres, it began with a production of 600 cases (7200 bottles), that sold in 6 stores. In 2009, the winery produced 15,000 cases, selling in 400 stores across Alabama and Mississippi, and expanded its acreage by 85 acres . It is run by Brammer family.

Kymulga Mill & Covered Bridge

Kymulga Mill & Covered Bridge are two locally owned historic landmarks located at Kymulga Park in Talladega County, Alabama, United States. The park is on Grist Mill Road (CR 46) off State Route 76 about 4 miles (6 kilometers) northeast of the city of Childersburg. Both structures, dating back to the American Civil War, were restored in 1974 and were listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 29, 1976.
