Carroll High School is located in Ozark, Alabama and is part of the Ozark City School System. It has a populus of close to 800 students. It is in the 5A class of Alabama schools. It enjoyed great success in football in the late 1980s and early 1990s. At the time of the 1970s 3 starters on offense for Bear Bryant's University of Alabama football were from Carroll High School. It integrated its school system in 1969.

Dale County, Alabama

Dale County is a county of the U.S. state of Alabama. The vast majority of Fort Rucker U.S. Army Aviation Center for Excellence is located in Dale County. Its name is in honor of General Samuel Dale. As of the 2010 census the population was 50,251. Its county seat and largest city is Ozark. Dale County is part of the Enterprise–Ozark Micropolitan Statistical Area.
