KWAP

KWAP is an American radio station licensed to serve the community of Wasilla, Alaska. The station began broadcasting under program test authority as "KMBQ" in December 2008. Currently owned by Spirit of Alaska Broadcasting Incorporated and operated in receivership since July 2010 by Bob Woodward, the station received its broadcast license on January 27, 2012.

Matanuska–Susitna College

Matanuska–Susitna College in Palmer, Alaska, north of Anchorage, is part of the University of Alaska Anchorage system. The college began in 1958 as Palmer Community College, changing its name in 1963 to correspond to the Matanuska-Susitna Borough where it is located. It is commonly called Mat-Su College. Total enrollment is about 1,650. Talis Colberg was appointed as the fourth Director of the College since 2002.

Mat-Su Regional Medical Center

Mat-Su Regional Medical Center is a 74-bed general hospital in the U.S. state of Alaska owned by Community Health Systems (CHS). Located between Palmer and Wasilla, it is the principal hospital for the Matanuska-Susitna Valley. Built at a cost of $87,700,000 to replace the aging Valley Hospital, the hospital began construction in spring 2004 and opened on January 27, 2006.
