Gila River Indian Community

The Gila River Indian Community is an Indian reservation in the U.S. state of Arizona, lying adjacent to the south side of the city of Phoenix, within the Phoenix Metropolitan Area in Pinal and Maricopa Counties. It was established in 1859, and formally established by Congress in 1939. The Community is home for members of both the Akimel O’odham (Pima) and the Pee-Posh (Maricopa) tribes. The reservation has a land area of 583.749 sq mi (1,511.902 km²) and a 2000 Census population of 11,257.

Sun Lakes is a census-designated place (CDP) in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. The population was 11,936 at the 2000 census. Sun Lakes is an active adult community comprising five active adult country club communities in three homeowner associations. These include the gated communities of Oakwood, IronWood, and Palo Verde, and the non gated communities of CottonWood, and Sunlakes1 country clubs. Sun Lakes is a masterplanned community developed by a single builder, Robson Communities.

Compadre Stadium

Compadre Stadium was the spring training home of the Milwaukee Brewers from 1986 to 1997 in Chandler, Arizona, and the home field of the Arizona Fall League Chandler Diamondbacks. The ballpark was privately financed by local developers and built at a cost of $1.6 million in 1985.
