Durant High School (Plant City, Florida)

Durant High School is a public high school in Plant City, Florida. It was opened in 1995 on Cougar Path in the city by its first Principal, Mr. Ron Frost. He died of cancer in 1996. The Durant High School Football stadium is named in his honor. The school is named for the community in which it is located. Principals have included Ron Frost (1995-1996), Sherry Sikes (1997-1999), Joe Perez (1999–2004) and Pamela Bowden (2004–present).

The Plant City High School is a historic public high school in Plant City, Florida, United States. It was built in 1914 on a design by Tampa based architect Willis R. Biggers at 605 North Collins Street. The original building is now a community center and a new school building completed in 1972 on Maki Road, later designated with the address of 1 Raider Place.
