Miracle Park (community)

Miracle Park is a religious community outside of Pahokee, Florida that serves as a home for convicted sex offenders. It was created by Richard Witherow, a minister working in prisons for 30 years, as an answer to sex offender registration laws that strictly limit where offenders may live. Such laws prohibit offenders from living within a certain distance of places where children gather, such as schools, parks, and places of worship.

Canal Point, Florida

The unincorporated community of Canal Point is a census-designated place (CDP) in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. The population was 525 at the 2000 census. Kreamer Island

Kreamer Island is a small island in the south-easternmost part of Lake Okeechobee, Florida. Located in Palm Beach County just north of Torry Island, accessible only by airboat during the wet season and by recreational vehicles during dry season/droughts. (A small canal separates the two islands. ) The island was first settled in the 19th century as a fishing and agricultural settlement.
