East Dubuque is a city in Jo Daviess County, Illinois, United States. The population was 1,704 at the 2010 census, down from 1,995 at the 2000 census. East Dubuque is located alongside the Mississippi River. Across the river is the city of Dubuque, Iowa. About three miles north of the city is the Illinois – Wisconsin border. East Dubuque was originally known as Dunleith. It also has another township known as Menominee.

KDTH AM 1370 is an AM radio station based in Dubuque, Iowa. The station is owned by Radio Dubuque. KDTH is a "full service" local radio station with a full-time news department, sports director, farm director and staff of local personalities, many of whom have been part of the Dubuque radio scene for more than 30 years. Its transmitter and towers are located across the Mississippi River from Dubuque in East Dubuque, Illinois just south of the U.S. 20 Bridge.

Julien Dubuque Bridge

The Julien Dubuque Bridge crosses the Mississippi River. It joins the cities of Dubuque, Iowa, and East Dubuque, Illinois. The bridge is part of the U.S. Highway 20 route. It is one of two automobile bridges over the Mississippi in the area (the Dubuque-Wisconsin Bridge three miles north links Dubuque with Wisconsin), and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

Grand River Event Center

The Grand River Event Center is a convention center located in Dubuque, Iowa. It is on the riverfront of the Mississippi River, and is part of the America's River Campus at the Port of Dubuque. The center is located at 500 Bell Street. Designed by Populous, the center has about 86,000 square feet (8,000 m²) of space for meetings, conferences, and other social functions. It is designed to accommodate groups ranging in size from 10 to 3,000.
