West Liberty is a city in Muscatine County, Iowa, United States. The population was 3,736 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Muscatine Micropolitan Statistical Area. West Liberty is home to the West Liberty Raceway. It also has a fairgrounds, where the Muscatine County Fair takes place. Scattergood Friends School
Scattergood Friends School educates students in grades nine through twelve. It is in Cedar County, Iowa, two miles (3 km) east and one half mile south of the town of West Branch. Founded in 1890 by Iowa Wilburite Quakers to provide a "guarded education" for their own children, it is owned and operated by Iowa Yearly Meeting of Friends. In recent years about a third of students and staff have been Quakers, with the rest coming from many faiths.

Springdale, Iowa
Springdale is a small unincorporated community in Cedar County, Iowa, United States. Historically, the town was predominantly settled by Quakers, and was a way-station in the Underground Railroad. Its most famous residents were the militant abolitionist John Brown, who resided at John Hunt Painter's house near Springdale while making preparations for the raid on Harpers Ferry, and Edwin and Barclay Coppock, local youths who participated with Brown during the raid.
