The Episcopal Diocese of Western Kansas, created in 1971, is the diocese of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America with jurisdiction over western Kansas. It was formerly the Episcopal Diocese of Salina and is in Province 7. Its cathedral, Christ Episcopal Cathedral, is in Salina, as are the diocesan offices.

Bicentennial Center

The Bicentennial Center is a 7,583-seat multi-purpose arena, in Salina, Kansas. It was opened in 1979. In the past it was home to the Kansas Cagerz of the United States Basketball League and the Salina Rattlers of the now defunct International Basketball Association, both of which are now defunct. Beginning in 2013, it will be home to the Salina Bombers of the Champions Professional Indoor Football League.

Roman Catholic Diocese of Salina

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Salina is a Roman Catholic diocese covering thirty-one counties in Kansas. The episcopal see is in Salina, Kansas. It was founded as the Diocese of Concordia on August 2, 1887 and on December 23, 1944, was renamed Diocese of Salina. Pope Benedict XVI named Monsignor Edward John Weisenburger as the 11th Bishop of the Diocese of Salina on February 6, 2012. He was consecrated on May 1, 2012.
