The John Carroll School

The John Carroll School, established in 1964, is a private, independent, college-preparatory, co-educational Catholic school for grades 9–12, located on 87 acres in Bel Air, Maryland. It is located about 30 minutes north of Baltimore, Maryland in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Baltimore. The school is named after John Theodore Carroll, SJ, the first Catholic bishop and archbishop in the United States — serving as the ordinary of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Baltimore.

Ma and Pa Trail

The Ma and Pa Trail is a 6.25-mile multi-purpose rail trail that follows the path of the old Ma and Pa Railroad through Harford County, Maryland. It contains three linked trails, one unconnected, with plans to bridge the gap in the middle, bringing the total length to 10 miles . Both links of the trail are paved, have few steep hills or hazards, and contain overlooks and bridges when necessary.
