Scientists' Cliffs is an unincorporated community in Calvert County, Maryland, United States. Other names used for the community include Annes Aggravation, Flippos Folly, Pathologists Quagmire, and Scientists Cliff. Its altitude is 105 feet (32 m), and it is located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:38|31|3|N|76|30|48|W| | |name= }} (38.5176224, -76.5132867). The private community was first established in 1935 as a summer colony for scientists by Flippo and Annie Gravatt.

Port Republic, Maryland

Port Republic is a small, rural community located in Calvert County, Maryland. It is approximately 5 miles south of Prince Frederick, Maryland, the county seat of Calvert County. While Port Republic is not incorporated and has no central business district, it nonetheless features several places of note, including historic Christ Episcopal Church, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, and a restored one room school building.

St. Leonard, Maryland

St. Leonard is a census-designated place (CDP) in Calvert County, Maryland, United States. The population was officially 536 at the 2000 census, although residents of the Calvert Beach-Long Beach, Maryland community also use the St. Leonard zip code designation, making it in fact a much larger community. It contains a large antique dealer complex, and is a few miles north of the popular weekend resort town Solomons, Maryland.

Parkers Creek (Maryland)

Parkers Creek is a small tributary of the Chesapeake Bay located in central Calvert County, Maryland, United States. The creek entrance is just north of the bayside community of Scientists Clifffs. Most of the land surrounding the creek has been protected from development by numerous land trust purchases and conservation easements. Much of the creek is navigable by canoe. The creek's headwaters are south of the town of Prince Frederick.
