Edgewood (MARC station)

Edgewood is a passenger rail station on the MARC Penn Line between Washington, D.C. , Baltimore, MD and Perryville, MD. The station is also on the southern section of the Northeast Corridor however, Amtrak does not service this station. However, Amtrak #151 stops at Edgewood to receive MARC passengers headed towards Baltimore and Washington D.C.

Joppatowne is a census-designated place (CDP): the population was 11,391 at the 2000 census. Joppatowne is only a small part of what is currently described as the "Joppa" area of Harford County. Joppa is an area technically defined by the US postal zip code 21085, and a designated planning region for the county.
