Wor–Wic Community College

Wor–Wic Community College is a 2-year institution located in Salisbury on the eastern shore, Maryland, offering both credit and continuing education classes for Delmarva residents. The college's name is a portmanteau of Maryland's Worcester and Wicomico counties. It was founded in 1975, and operated as a "college without walls" in the two counties for 20 years before settling in Salisbury.

Arthur W. Perdue Stadium

The Arthur W. Perdue Stadium is a baseball stadium in Salisbury, Maryland. It is the home of the Baltimore Orioles Class A affiliate Delmarva Shorebirds, and was named for the founder of Perdue Farms, Arthur Perdue. It features the Maryland Eastern Shore Baseball Hall of Fame. The stadium seats 5,200 fans and was opened in 1996. As the second largest seating venue in Salisbury, it also occasionally is used for concerts or other events.

Delmar is a town in Wicomico County, Maryland, United States. The population was 3,003 at the 2010 census. It is included in the Salisbury, Maryland Metropolitan Statistical Area. When the population is added to "twin city" Delmar, Delaware the town's total population is 4,600. By comparison this is more than Pocomoke City, Maryland 4,184, Denton, Maryland 4,418, and Berlin, Maryland 4,485, but less than Fruitland, Maryland, 4,866.

Salisbury Mall (Maryland)

The Salisbury Mall was a one-level 600,000-square-foot regional mall located on Civic and Glen Avenues in Salisbury, Maryland. The Salisbury Mall was the first enclosed climate-controlled shopping mall on the Delmarva Peninsula. In the October 16, 1968, edition of the Daily Times in Salisbury, it was reported that the overall cost of the mall had exceeded $7 million, and the parking lot could accommodate 3,300 vehicles. The mall was anchored by Sears, Hecht's, Peebles, and Food Depot.

Delmar High School

Delmar High School, is a public high school in Delmar, DE, a community in Sussex County, Delaware. The school is co-located with Delmar Middle School, along with the district offices. Delmar High School's enrollment includes students from Delmar, MD and 45 students from other cities under Delaware's School Choice program. The total 2008-2009 high school enrollment was 640 students, and 501 students in the middle school; with 1,141 students in the district in total.
