Dedham is a town in and the county seat of Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 24,729 at the 2010 census. It is located on Boston's southwest border. On the northwest it is bordered by Needham, on the southwest by Westwood and on the southeast by Canton.

Readville, Massachusetts

Readville, called Low Plains from 1655 until renaming in 1847 after Mr. James Read, part of Dedham until 1867 but now a part of Boston, and is a part of the Hyde Park neighborhood. It is served by Readville station on the MBTA Commuter Rail. It is on the original alignment of Route 128, later part of a since-discontinued section of Route 135. Readville is bordered by the Town of Milton to the south and Town of Dedham to the west.

Endicott House

The MIT Endicott House is a conference center located in Dedham, Massachusetts, about 10 miles south-west from downtown Boston. The center consists of the Endicott mansion, a Normandy French-style chateau, along with an art lecture facility known as the Brooks Center, and 25 acres of gardens, lawn, woods and ponds. Since 1955, when it was given to Massachusetts Institute of Technology by the Endicott family, it has been owned and operated by MIT.

Noble and Greenough School

The Noble and Greenough School, commonly known as Nobles, is a coeducational, nonsectarian day and boarding school for students in grades seven through twelve. It is located on a 187-acre campus in Dedham, Massachusetts. The current enrollment of 550 students includes a balance of boys and girls, of whom 48 are weekly boarders who go home for the weekends. The majority of students are from Massachusetts, neighboring states and occasionally from abroad.

Hyde Park (MBTA station)

Hyde Park is an MBTA Commuter Rail station in the Hyde Park section of Boston, Massachusetts serving the Providence/Stoughton and Franklin lines. Hyde Park's two platforms serve the outer tracks of the Northeast Corridor, which is three tracks wide through the station. The station is officially located at 1 Pingree Street; however, both platforms are accessible from the River Street bridge via a pair of lengthy ramps.
